The Kassala Youth Emergency Room, along with other Sudanese Emergency Rooms, has been nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of its humanitarian efforts in providing support and relief to those affected in Sudan. This nomination is considered a global acknowledgment of the prominent role these rooms play in saving lives and promoting peace and stability in communities affected by crises. It is noteworthy that the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) announced this nomination, stating that the Sudanese Emergency Rooms have become a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of challenges.
The Kassala Youth Emergency Room celebrated its anniversary, embodying a year of giving and dedication to serving the community.
