From June 16 to June 29, 2025, the Kassala Youth Emergency Room, in partnership with Adeela Organization for Arts and Culture and Boh for Psychological and Social Support, implemented the Academic Support Project. The project targeted Sudanese Certificate students in two schools in eastern and western Kassala locality, aiming to help them prepare for exams in the best possible way.
Project Details and Results
The project provided free remedial classes supervised by specialized teachers, benefiting more than 300 male and female students. Students received 37 hours of classroom study, in addition to 8 hours of support via WhatsApp. Simple supplies such as stationery, worksheets, juices, and snacks were also provided.
Community Impact of the Project
The project contributed to supporting examination centers, promoted educational equity, and connected the community with schools. It also encouraged a culture of volunteering and adopted flexible teaching methods combining physical attendance and digital education. This project represents a model of effective cooperation between community organizations to support education and develop youth capabilities in Sudan.
